Pectoralis Peg

With the Pectoralis Peg, a breast implant is used instead of flap tissue from a different portion of the patient's body. Only the tissues of the breast are used for reconstruction. For many patients, all scarring is hidden in the reconstructed nipple. The Pectoralis PEG is a Neovascular flap that relies on the reestablished circulation of the Pectoralis muscle to the overlying breast skin.
