The Danville Ambulatory Surgery Center is a full-service, state-licensed center of excellence for aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. It was founded by Dr. Edward Knowlton in 1983 and has built its reputation on principles of integrity; state-of-the-art, quality care; and patient comfort, safety and satisfaction. The Center features Dr. Knowlton and his associate, Dr. Timothy Leung.  It is staffed only by registered nurses who are certified in basic life support, CPR and advanced cardiac life support. Deborah Price, RN, is the chief nursing staff administrator as well as a skilled and compassionate recovery room nurse. Shari Wilkins, RN, is the Center's chief operating room nurse, pre-op coordinator and skin care technician. Anesthesiologists for the Center rotate from the region's largest medical center.
